Registering for Little Bellas

You are REGISTERING for this program, meaning this is a guaranteed spot. Registration will move to a waitlist if the program fills to capacity and we will notify you if a spot opens up. You will only be granted a spot in this program or waitlist when you have completed the registration in its entirety and have received an email confirmation from Little Bellas.

Program Description

Our Madison, WI Weekly Program (Ages 7-13) is an all-girls, mountain bike program held at Quarry Ridge Recreation Area and Seminole. With over 3 miles of spectacular trails, the park is a mountain bikers paradise! And better yet, it's a Little Bellas paradise too!

This program aims to get girls of all abilities either introduced to the sport or help them develop an already present interest. Based around having fun, we play lots of games (on and off the bike), explore and ride trails, and incorporate basic bike skills.

We also use the mountain bike experience to help the girls gain confidence, build camaraderie with other girls on bikes, seek out new adventures, and get outdoors! These are learning skills your daughter can take with her throughout life.

It is a great opportunity for girls looking to try out mountain biking as well as for those who are looking to explore some new trails in their area!

What to Bring:

• Bike Specific Helmet
• Mountain Bike - In good working order (with hand brakes, gears, and treaded tires)
• Water
• Closed-toed shoes
• Rain gear or extra layers if necessary

Schedule:

• 40 mins to 1 hr - Trail ride in small, age/ability appropriate groups
• 15 min - Snack (provided)
• 45 min - Games and activities (each day of the program has a different and unique curriculum)

Former Little Bellas mentor in Athens, GA, Grace Anne can now be found running, biking, hiking, climbing, and skiing the forest of her home state- Wisconsin! Grace Anne has a long history on two wheels in the state; she bought her first bike in Madison, WI at the age of ten and fell in love with the freedom of two wheels. In college, she took up cycling as an athletic endeavor and competed on the University of Georgia's National Championship-Winning Club Cyclocross team. After returning home to Madison, WI post-college, she entered public service first at University of Wisconsin Extension and then Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Grace Anne loves to support initiatives such as trail maintenance, ecosystem restoration, and assisting international asylum seekers in completing their applications. She’s passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment at Little Bella's where all kids can come together to have fun and grow their confidence!

Cancellation Policy

If you for any reason need to cancel your Little Bellas registration prior to your program start, we offer the following refund minus a $12 non-refundable processing fee:

8 or more weeks before launch: Full refund
5 to under 8 weeks before launch: 75% refund
3 to under 5 weeks before launch: 50% refund
2 to under 3 weeks before launch: 25% refund
Under 2 weeks before launch: No refund

Weather-Related Cancellations

If we must cancel a program day due to weather, one make-up day (or two, depending on the program) is built into the program schedule. Because our programs are largely volunteer-based, we are unable to guarantee additional make-up sessions beyond those built into the schedule.
