You are REGISTERING for this program, meaning this is a guaranteed spot. Registration will move to a waitlist if the program fills to capacity and we will notify you if a spot opens up. You will only be granted a spot in this program or waitlist when you have completed the registration in its entirety and have received an email confirmation from Little Bellas.

Program Description

It's always more fun to ride in a group!!! Getting together with a bunch of like-minded people who share the love for being outside and riding trails as you do, yes please! Many times it's hard to find a group of people who have the same schedule and can ride at the same times. We have the solution! The Little Bellas Upper Valley Weekly Explore Program!

The Upper Valley, NH Weekly Program meets every Wednesday throughout the summer at the Boston Lot Trail system and various other trails in the area. This is the next level of the Little Bellas. Open to girls of all abilities, the Explore format offers the girls a unique opportunity to learn how to ride mountain bikes from our most experienced mentors. Still based around having fun, the rides take them on trails they may know, trails they may not know, and really gives the girls a chance to try, learn, or hone their skills.

Financial assistance is available if needed and we also have equipment available through our Gear Up program! Please communicate any of these needs when filling out the registration form for the program.

What to Bring:

• Bike Specific Helmet
• Mountain Bike - In good working order (with hand brakes, gears, and treaded tires)
• Water
• Closed-toed shoes
• Rain gear or extra layers if necessary

Schedule:

• 40 mins to 1 hr - Trail ride in small, age/ability appropriate groups
• 15 min - Snack (provided)
• 45 min - Games and activities (each day of the program has a different and unique curriculum)

The Upper Valley Ride program is led by Meg Petroski. A long time advocate for girls in bike and girl power in general, Meg has volunteered for both the weekly and ride programs for the past 6+ years. She started off on a hard-tail, riding trails in the Cuyahoga Valley (OH) in college and graduated to her first “fancy” bike (suspension!) when she moved to Vermont in 2012. The last 10+ years have been spent exploring trails around the Upper Valley with her husband Bill and trail pup Sage. Meg is thrilled to continue her journey with Little Bellas & the amazing volunteer mentors and see Little Bellas grow from the weekly to the ride program.

Cancellation Policy

If you for any reason need to cancel your Little Bellas registration prior to your program start, we offer the following refund minus a $12 non-refundable processing fee:

8 or more weeks before launch: Full refund
5 to under 8 weeks before launch: 75% refund
3 to under 5 weeks before launch: 50% refund
2 to under 3 weeks before launch: 25% refund
Under 2 weeks before launch: No refund

Weather-Related Cancellations

If we must cancel a program day due to weather, one make-up day (or two, depending on the program) is built into the program schedule. Because our programs are largely volunteer-based, we are unable to guarantee additional make-up sessions beyond those built into the schedule.
